GINOLA: Aston Villa's David Ginola could face a fine of more than £100,000 sterling and a six-match suspension after being charged with misconduct by the Football Association following his weekend bust-up with a fourth official.
Aston Villa manager John Gregory has already confirmed that he will fine Ginola for his "futile and unnecessary" conduct in being sent off after a clash with Leicester City's Dennis Wise.
And there is every indication that, if found guilty, the French star will also be hit hard in the pocket with a two-week fine by the Football Association after his touchline confrontation with fourth official Clive Wilkes.
BREEN: Coventry defender Gary Breen has been put on the transfer list. Chairman Bryan Richardson said: "Gary has been offered the biggest contract in the club's history, bigger than Dion (Dublin) and Mustapha (Hadji).
"He has continued to stall over this offer and has made his position quite clear which leaves the club with no option other than to protect its own interests."
KENNA: Wigan manager Paul Jewell is hoping to sign defender Jeff Kenna on a long-term deal from Premiership side Blackburn.
