Not the match you want as you strive to lift yourselves off the foot of the table, but Galway won't short-change their fans by playing defensively against champions and league leaders Bohemians.
"We are fully conscious of the fact we haven't scored a goal," says Galway goalkeeper and assistant manager Eddie Hickey. "But it would be nice to get it tonight and break the duck against the champions. It certainly won't be for the want of trying. We are at home and our game plan tonight will be all-out attack."
Provided defender Tom Silke is over a minor back strain, Galway hope to be unchanged from the side that earned their first point of the season at Monaghan last Sunday.
Bohemians must reshuffle in defence and, possibly, in midfield. Central defender Avery John is away on international duty with Trinidad and Tobago, while Fergal Harkin's recovery from an ankle knock has been slower than expected.
Manager Pete Mahon must pick two from Tony O'Connor, Dave Hill and Stephen Caffrey in central defence, though if Harkin doesn't make it, Caffrey is likely to have to come into central midfield alongside Kevin Hunt.
