The makings of a fine side that can’t be dismissed completely. Should be particularly strong around the middle if they can get everyone fit, plus they have one of the country’s best forwards in Jamie Clarke. Maddening inconsistency has become a hallmark though. Out-thought tactically by Cavan last year and could struggle again.


Last good day: The Ulster title in 2008 feels a long time ago at this stage.
