Flanker Peter O'Brien scored four tries as Presentation Glasthule overpowered a plucky Kells Community School side at Ashbourne yesterday.

Leading 35-0 at half-time, Glasthule ran in seven tries in all, with the props Donal Fitzgerald and Eoin Quaid getting one each, as did out-half Brian Keegan, who kicked six conversions for good measure.

Second-row Gerard Clarke also played a leading role in the victory as his side were dominant in the forward exchanges but Kells provided stout resistance in the second half.

Presentation now tackle Skerries in the Section A quarter-finals.
