Premiership new boys Nottingham Forest are hoping to sign defender Matthieu Louis-Jen from French club Le Havre.

Forest have tabled an undisclosed bid for the right back, who has been on trial at the City Ground.

Boss Dave Bassett said: "Matthieu has done well in his time with us and hopefully we will be able to reach an agreement with his club."
