Last year's winner has not raced competitively since his disappointing run in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham but Willie Mullins has decided to let him take his chance in the E160,000 festival feature.

Barry Geraghty will ride Florida Pearl in a mouth-watering contest that could also see Foxchapel King make a quick reappearance after running at Sandown on Saturday.

"He has come out of that race unbelievably well and he will be declared," said trainer Mouse Morris.

Hussard Collonges is expected to also take his chance in the Heineken which will see the comeback to fences of Beef Or Salmon.

First Gold, winner of the Martell Cup at Aintree earlier in the month, will represent France in the big race.
