THE presidents of the four home unions will meet at a private venue in Cardiff on Tuesday to see if the Five Nations Championship can be saved.
Sir Tasker Watkins, president of the Welsh Rugby Union, who initiated moves for the meeting, will be joined by the current RFU president John Richardson, Syd Millar, president of the Irish union and Fred McLeod of the Scottish union at the dinner date in the Welsh capital.
England were thrown out of the Five Nations by the other home unions after negotiating their own television deal with Sky.
