PUNTERS were backing Geoff Wragg and Michael Hills to land their second Group One prize in five days.
The duo, who teamed up to land the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot with Pentire, aim for Wednesday's Sussex Stakes at Goodwood with First Island who is now second favourite with William Hill.
A William Hill spokesman said: "Punters latched onto First Island soon after Pentire won. He works with First Island who is now 4 to 1 from 6 to 1.
Wragg, who won the one-mile Godwood event with Marling in 1993, said: "First Island is in very good form. He is a lovely horse, a big, strong colt with a lot of ability."
The three-year-old has won three of his five starts this season, progressing from Listed company to land the Group Two Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot last time.
