Fermanagh 2-7 Meath 0-12:TWO GOALS late in the first half helped Fermanagh claim the points at Páirc Tailteann on Saturday night. The goals left it 2-4 to 0-4 at the end of a first period during which the sides shared 14 wides, Fermanagh hitting eight. On 33 minutes Eamon Maguire fired past David Gallagher. In added time Gallagher took down Damien Kelly for a penalty and Daniel Kille converted.
With Nigel Crawford winning a lot of ball in midfield, Meath rallied and it t was 2-4 to 0-8 before Shane O’Brien got the Northerners back on track. A point from substitute Rory Foy on 62 minutes was enough to see Fermanagh over the line still in front.
