Finn Harps made it five games unbeaten when they played out a scoreless draw with Drogheda on Saturday night. However, the Donegal men will feel this was two points dropped against the bottom of the table side.
Drogheda may have lost manager, Martin Lawlor during the week but they fully deserved the point. Chances were at a premium and Drogheda had two chances to break the deadlock when Darren O'Keeffe and Mark Byrne had close range headers saved.
Paddy McGrenaghan struck a post for Harps in the dying minutes and Johnny Kenny missed two glorious opportunities. One volleyed effort in injury time produced a superb finger-tip save from Drogheda keeper Gareth Byrne.
