Fermanagh 0-14 Limerick 1-7A GOAL by Limerick sub Kieran O'Callaghan in the fifth minute of time added on in the second half took the bad look out of a result that was always going Fermanagh's way in this rearranged match at windy Lisnaskea on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors were without midfielder Thomas Cahill (hand injury) and corner forward Stephen Kelly (work commitments) and lost half back Andrew Lane to injury after just five minutes.
At half-time, Fermanagh led by 0-8 to 0-2, the Limerick scores coming from top scorer Ian Ryan in the third minute and Seánie Buckley in time added on.
Fermanagh began well, with points from Ciarán McElroy, Shaun Doherty and Mark Murphy.
A late spurt increased that to six, with scores from Mark Little (three) and Murphy, who had to retire injured at half-time.
Limerick had to work hard to get scores from play, their best from half back Stephen Lavin after a six-man move that involved full back Johnny McCarthy.
Fermanagh, meanwhile, were able to ring the changes up front after a job well done.
