Schools' rugby/Tullamore - 6 Gorey - 0: Tullamore College claimed the Leinster Schools' Senior Development Cup thanks to two second-half penalties from scrumhalf Derek Farrell.

Neither side was able to exert dominance during a scoreless opening half. Gorey spent the early part of the second half camped inside the Tullamore half.Persistent pressure produced three scrums close to the line but the winners held out.

Tullamore went ahead when Farrell converted his first penalty close to the target and he secured a second from a more difficult angle in additional time.
