Fourth Round
Liverpool v Blackburn Rovers (Anfield, 7.45 p.m.)
Blackburn Rovers skipper Lee Carsley is confident of getting a result when his side travel to Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup today.
Blackburn are unbeaten in four games and have forced their way into play-off contention and the Republic of Ireland midfielder fancies their chances. "We have a good strong squad here and we are playing well at the moment. If we can just play as well as we have in the league there's no reason why we can't progress."
Liverpool have immense injury problems, with Robbie Fowler out and a major doubt now over Michael Owen, who is struggling to convince Houllier he is fit enough to play following yet another hamstring scare.
So the likelihood is that Titi Camara and Vladimir Smicer will once again be pressed into service as a makeshift front pairing.
