CHRIS EUBANK has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to two women after a New Year's fire work display, it emerged yesterday. Eubank (28), the former WBO super middleweight champion, is due before magistrates in Brighton on May 31st.

Both women were admitted to the special burns unit at Queen Victoria hospital at East Grinstead following an incident near the Palace Pier, Brighton. The alleged incident happened while Eubank was staging a firework display for his wife Karron and their three children.

Eubank, of The Upper Drive, Hove, said yesterday he will be denying the accusations. The two women, aged 29 and 38, were injured when a firework ignited others and exploded into the crowd.
