Officials from the English League and the Professional Footballers Association are scheduled to meet tomorrow as the row over television funding escalates. Talks between both parties had already been agreed for tomorrow but on other matters.
League assistant secretary Andy Williamson indicated, however, that the TV debate could also be on the agenda. "It is a possibility" he said. "It would seem to make sense.
The League are being taken to task on two counts and 1,500 players from 72 clubs could be, affected as the threat of a players' strike looms.
