Stan Collymore, who has not started a game for Villa since March 3rd, is expected to be back on the substitutes' bench after 10 days out following a cortisone injection.
Bolton have Andy Todd suspended and Gerry Taggart is expected to get the nod ahead of Chris Fairclough to replace him. Dean Holdsworth has a hamstring strain and Arnar Gunnlaugsson is doubtful with a stomach bug so Nathan Blake will be partnered up front by Bob Taylor or Gaetano Giallanza.
