MOUNT Temple scored a comfortable win over Sandford Park at Merrion Road yesterday. Number eight Keith Ellis scored two tries and made a third in a powerhouse display.

Mount Temple opened the scoring with a try after 20 minutes by left wing Stephen Armstrong. Ellis burst through 10 minutes later to make it 12-0 at halftime and Sandford were very much in the contest at that stage. A well taken drop goal by Temple centre Alan Lordan just after the break kept the northside school on track and further scores by Joe Fitsachry, Ellis and Lordan sealed their impressive win.
