ALASTAIR ELIOTT turned on the style as a rampant Antrim side notched up a nine point win over Westmeath at Casement Park yesterday. Eliott's three goals helped to steady Antrim's season they have now definitely avoided relegation to Division Three while they now have an outside chance of promotion.
Antrim did not have it easy, though, with Westmeath's full forward line of Barry Kennedy, Sean McLoughlin and John Gavigan contributing 3-5 to their side's total. Level after 12 minutes of the second half, Antrim pulled away with goals from Gary and Gregory O'Kane in the last quarter.
