Eileen ROSE POWER has made a successful return to golf after the birth of her son in November. The former Irish champion won the Cork Scratch Cup over the weekend and will be defending the Statoil Hermitage Ladies Scratch Cup at Hermitage on May 2nd. The defending champion will be joined by last year's runner-up, Lillian Behan, recently crowned Leinster champion Jenny Gannon and Hazel Kavanagh in a top class line-up. Now in its 27th year, the Hermitage Scratch Cup has attracted high-class fields over the years with Mary McKenna, Scotland's Belle Roberston, Julia Greenhalgh, Catriona Matthews (nee Lambert) and England's Julia Hall among previous winners.
