Pat Eddery will bid for a record fifth Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe victory on Dark Moondancer a week on Sunday.
The Irishman, successful four times to date in the Longchamp showpiece, was booked for the ride yesterday by trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre.
Eddery won the St Simon Stakes on Dark Moondancer last season.
Since moving to de Royer-Dupre at Chantilly the four-year-old has won the Group Two Prix D'Harcourt and the Group One Prix Ganay, both at Longchamp, and the Group One Gran Premio di Milano in San Siro.
