Hibernian have completed a double signing swoop by recruiting former England star Ray Wilkins and German Under-21 midfielder Thorsten Schmugge.

Wilkins, who will mark his 40th birthday by playing against Raith today, has signed a month's deal with a view to a longer contract and Schmugge has also signed initially for a trial period.
