THE UNDER 21 team will seek to revive their European Championship qualification hopes in Kavadarci at 2.00 p.m. local time (1.0 p.m. Irish time) by completing the double over their Macedonian counterparts.

Ian Evans' team began their campaign with a thumping 4-0 defeat of the same opposition last October at Dalymount Park before enduring a frustrating 1-0 defeat against Iceland at the same venue a month later.

His team includes seven of the side which accounted for the Macedonians, including double goalscorer and captain Mark Kennedy. Evans was cautiously optimistic yesterday about his team's prospects having trained yesterday following their arrival direct from London on Sunday.
