NHL DIVISION TWO: OFFALY 2-21 DOWN 0-14: GOALS IN THE 49th and 60th minutes by Shane Dooley set up Offaly for victory at McKenna Park, Ballycran, yesterday and also moved them to the top of the table.

Offaly played attractive hurling, took excellent scores from all angles and cruised to victory.

Assisted by the strong breeze in the first half, Down twice they led by two points, but were pegged back to 0-10 each at half time.
