Queen's 3-6 Cork IT 0-9: Queen's University, Belfast, came up trumps at the Dublin City University sports grounds yesterday with Gavin Donaghy claiming three goals in this Sigerson Cup quarter-final.

Donaghy pounced for the first of his goals on 27 minutes to give Queen's a five-point lead.

Although Daniel Goulding reduced the arrears for Cork IT, Donaghy struck for his second goal. That left Queen's with a 2-5 to 0-4 lead at the break and they then put the game to bed on 38 minutes when Donaghy landed his third goal.
