Two goals in the last two minutes of this Ulster Minor Hurling final at Casement Park gave a misleading scoreline to a game dominated by Derry.

The winners led by 0-10 to 0-0 at half-time but relaxed during the second period and allowed Antrim get back into the hunt.

Antrim's Left-back got off to the worst possible start when left full back Aidan Gallagher was sent off after just 13 minutes for persistent fouling.

The losers got their first goal in the 58th minute from the penalty spot with team with captain Karl Stewart hammering the ball home and scoring from the penalty spot, and two minutes later it was Gareth Clarke who also hit the Derry net.

Excellent long-range scores during the opening 30 minutes had Derry completely in control. with the harassed Antrim boys completely frustrated. However, the winners were confined to just three points in the second half as Antrim tightened up all over the field.
