Naas CBS ... 21 Presentation Bray ... 0Three converted tries at King's Hospital yesterday saw the Section A Junior Cup winners, Naas CBS progress. With just the one try conceded in their last four games prior to yesterday, Naas continued their fine defensive record despite the best attempts of Bray.
Naas scored just one try in the first half when outhalf Micheál Skelton exploited a gap to score under the posts. Scrumhalf Colin O'Brien converted.
In the second half Bray began well but every attack was snuffed out by a resolute Naas defence with full back James Whelan very impressive.
Midway through the half Naas second row Ross Murphy went over in the corner after a fine run from number eight Luke Denvir, who then scored the game's final try.
