WALTER SMITH, the Rangers manager, confirmed yesterday that Kenny Dalglish has been made an offer to direct the Ibrox club's proposed global scouting system. However, Dalglish is in no rush to accept. David Murray, the Rangers chairman, is still awaiting an answer.
