Paul Curran, Dublin's attacking wing back, is set to join Kilmacud Crokes this coming season but his requested transfer from Tallaght club Thomas Davis has yet to be rubber stamped. Thomas Davis for whom Curran has played since under-13 level are not pleased with the circumstances of the transfer. The player says he is leaving the club for personal reasons but the Tallaght club are not quite satisfied with this explanation and are seeking more information in a letter sent to the Dublin County Board.
It is understood that Curran was not interested in a effort by the Thomas Davis Club sponsors to encourage him to stay at the club.
All-Ireland medallist Curran (29) is currently involved in the Leinster Council's coaching project. He won three county championship senior medals with the Tallaght club as well as a Leinster club medal.
