A SERIES of four practice matches has been arranged for Ireland's cricketers during March, in advance of their participation in the ICC Trophy World Cup qualifying campaign in Kuala Lumpur.
The warm-up matches will be against Canada (March 17th), Fiji (March 18th), Scotland (March 20th) and Namibia (March 21st).
Ireland have been drawn against Kenya, USA, Gibraltar, Singapore and Israel in a bid for a quarter-final place. The top three countries from the ICC tournament will qualify for the next World Cup, to be played in England in 1999.
