Four penalties from Stephen Coy sent Moyne CS into the Leinster Schools' Section A Senior Cup quarter-final after a titanic replay with Newpark Comprehensive at King's Hospital.

In a cagey first half, outhalf Coy struck two penalties in the 10th and 22nd minutes to give Moyne a 6-0 lead at the interval. Newpark could not break the Moyne defence until the 44th minute when outhalf Ben Fogarty cut through for a try which Jason Lowe converted. Lowe then landed a penalty to give Newpark a 10-6 lead. Coy, however, kept his nerve to land two late penalties.
