CORYMANDEL followed up on his Listowel Festival success by making virtually all to win the Wexford Handicap Chase at a wet and windy Gowran Park yesterday.
Partnered by Francis Woods, the seven year old gelding still held the initiative on the run to the last and when the chasing Brook Hill Lady and Charlie Swan crashed on landing, Harry de Bromhead's charge was left to come home, eased down, from Triptodicks.
"He has taken time to come to himself but is improving all the time. I will run him a couple of times before Christmas - before aiming him for the Thyestes Chase back here in January," said de Bromhead, after the seven length victory.
