Cork IT 2-16 IT Tralee 2-5:A COMBINED tally of 1-11 from potent attacking duo Donal Óg Hodnett and Hugh Curran helped Cork IT into the semi-finals of the McGrath Cup as they enjoyed a relatively easy home win over IT Tralee yesterday.

Thanks to four fine points from Curran and three Hodnett frees, CIT led by 0-9 to 1-4 at half-time,

Hodnett and Kevin Hallissey pointed before the latter set up the former for a goal to open up a seven-point lead and put the outcome effectively beyond doubt with 20 minutes remaining.
