AIB LEAGUE:CORK CONSTITUTION moved to the top of Division One A of the AIB League following a 33-5 victory over UL Bohemian in Annacotty on Saturday. The defeat confirmed UL Bohemian's relegation.

Richie Lane converted Stephen Archer’s opening try before crossing the line himself and adding a second conversion for a 14-0 half-time lead.

Dave O’Driscoll and Tom Gleeson added to the try count in the second half before Harry de Stacpoole crossed for UL Bohemians. Lane scored his second try in injury time, again converting.

Garryowen’s chances of making the play-offs suffered a setback at Dooradoyle, where they lost 18-11 to Blackrock.

Two penalties from centre Dara Fitzgerald and a try from fullback Andrew Conway gave Blackrock an 11-0 half-time lead.

A Mick Carroll try, converted by Ian Madigan, put the game beyond Garryowen.
