Midleton 0 Cork City 2GOALS from Graham Cummins and Vinny Sullivan gave First Division Cork City a comfortable victory over Midleton at Knockgriffin last night in front of 1,200 spectators.
Cummins scored from the spot-kick on 52 minutes after he was fouled by Michael Kenneally and, seven minutes later, it was two-nil when Sullivan scored with a low drive.
Non-league side Midleton hit the bar late on from Paul a Deasy free kick. It was no pushover for Cork as the teams went in goalless at the break but their fitness and experience told in the end.
