Cork avenged last season's Munster minor football championship semi-final defeat by Limerick with a runaway victory at the same stage of this season's competition at Pairc Ui Chaoimh last evening. A Seamus O'Donnell goal just before the interval left Cork 0-6 to 1-2 in front but they coasted home in a one-sided second half.
Their impressive display was highlighted by a 53rd minute goal by substitute Robert O'Mahony to seal the home side's victory.
