HOLDERS Buccaneers are out of this year's Connacht Senior Cup after their defeat at the hands of Galwegians in the semi-final played at the Galway Sports Ground on Saturday. This victory for Galwegians secures them a place in the final against junior side Connemara.
Galwegians were on top in the first half and led 9-3 at the interval. Man-of-the-match Eamon Molloy, at out half, was on target with three penalties out of six attempts, while Buccaneers' points came by way of a dropped goal from veteran out-half Ger Dowd.
