Connacht were crowned this season's under-21 interprovincial champions after they overcame Ulster at Galway Sportsground on Saturday.
A flat defence enabled Ulster loosehead prop Brian Young to go over for a try in the ninth minute. However, outhalf Gavin McLoughlin saw his conversion attempt go awry.
Connacht's first try arrived midway through the opening half from left-winger Paddy O'Sullivan, outhalf Colm Glynn adding the conversion.
A few minutes later Glynn had a try after right winger Barry Liddy acted as provider and Glynn's conversion was again good.
Good early pressure from Connacht after the break led to a Glynn penalty from the Ulster 22.
Ulster made a series of substitutions and David Mayne, on for Hayden Swift, had a consolation try two minutes into injury-time.
