All-Ireland Club JHC Final: Conahy (Kilkenny) 0-19 Moyle Rovers (Tipperary) 1-9:GAA President Nickey Brennan wore a broad smile at Croke Park on Saturday after his home club, Conahy Shamrocks, captured the All-Ireland junior hurling title.

A strong late surge from the Kilkenny champions denied a brave Moyle Rovers, who were spearheaded by two-time football All Star Declan Browne in attack.

The dismissal of Rovers' Páraic Kelly in the 21st minute was the turning point as Browne had drilled a 21-yard free to the net just five minutes earlier to drag Rovers back into contention.

Rovers found themselves 0-9 to 1-3 behind at the break and although they were level eight minutes after half-time at 1-7 to 0-10, Shamrocks pulled away.
