There's a buzz around the Charlesland club near Greystones, Co Wicklow, which continues to go from strength to strength since opening in 1992.
Following the £500,000 upgrade to the bar and restaurant in April the second phase of a tree planting programme named The Greening of Charlesland is about to be launched.
There are also some modifications to the course including new bunkering on the way.
It was in fine condition for the recent hosting of the Pierce Purcell Shield area matches but the good news ended there for the club who lost in the second round.
There are vacancies for full and five-day members although with non-refundable joining fees of £10,000 and £7,150 respectively, they don't come cheap.
