UUJ 1-13 Queen's 2-9:A POINT by Jimmy Clarke in injury-time sealed UUJ's win at the Dub yesterday. Queen's led by 1-3 to 0-0 after seven minutes, the goal coming when goalkeeper failed to hold a lob from James Kielt and Seán O'Neill pounced.

It was the ninth minute before UUJ scored when Colm Kavanagh pointed. James and Charlie Kielt landed frees for Queen’s before Enda Kenny pointed for the losers.

Conor McManus’s two pointed frees and one from Kavanagh left it Queen’s 1-7, UUJ 0-5 at the break.

The third quarter saw UUJ in control as McManus, Ciarán McGinley and Jimmy Clarke levelled matters. Queen’s regained the lead with a James Kielt free but with 11 minutes left UUJ’s Clarke sent a penalty to the net.

Another mistake by UUJ goalkeeper saw O’Neill hit the net again to regain the lead. The sides swapped scores before McManus pointed a free to level the game and Clarke had the final say.
