There was an odd symmetry at one point in Saturday's Celtic League final when Mike Prendergast was sinbinned early in the first half for deliberately killing a ball near his own line. Prendergast's temporary replacement was Derek Hegarty, a former Leinster scrumhalf and standing beside him at the next scrum was Leinster scrumhalf Brian O'Meara, a player who has worn the number nine jersey of Munster.
