RTÉ HAVE released the 40 live championship matches they intend to show this season starting with Fermanagh and Down on May 17th, reports Gavin Cummiskey.
The real championship feel may not kick in until May 31st when Armagh and Tyrone meet at 2pm in the Ulster football championship in Clones, followed by the Munster hurling clash between Tipperary and Cork at 4pm.
Several provincial finals will be televised by TV3 but RTÉ have retained the Munster hurling decider on July 12th and Ulster football final on July 19th. They will continue to show full coverage of all football and hurling matches from the All-Ireland semi-finals to finals.
