Sea Wave can follow up his encouraging third in the Hardwicke Stakes and leave his rivals floundering in the Group Two Princess of Wales's Greene King Stakes at Newmarket today. The Godolphin runner, successful three times last term including in the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York, looked to be carrying plenty of condition on his seasonal bow at the Royal meeting and will have come on a lot for finishing four and a half lengths behind Fruits Of Love.
The final quarter-mile caught him out on that occasion, but he will strip a lot fitter today and warrants the nap vote.
Hoh Dear and Forever Midnight fought out a ding-dong battle in a Listed event over course and distance here last month with the former grabbing the spoils by length.
The pair meet again in the Group Two Charles Heidsieck Champagne Cherry Hinton Stakes and, although joined by 10 rivals, should again fight out the finish.
Although many felt Michael Bell's charge only won due to racing on a better strip of ground, the form is there for all to see and a repeat victory looks on the cards for Hoh Dear.
