Clive Brittain only emerged from a month in the doldrums last Wednesday, but he made it six wins since normal service resumed when Caballero and Frankie Dettori caned Diggit and company in the Copenhagen Condition Stakes at Windsor yesterday.
Brittain said afterwards: "I thought Caballero would win the Coventry at Royal Ascot but he went there and died, and I decided there and then to shut up shop.
"Caballero could be Group One material, and I'll consider the Prix Morny at Deauville, though we might build his confidence up slowly by taking in another conditions race en route to the Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury and Middle Park at Newmarket."
