RACING/Kilbeggan preview: Barry Geraghty could be the jockey to follow at Kilbeggan this evening and there would be little surprise to see the former champion pick up the first three races.

Artistic Lad looks to have the Roscommon runner-up Zululand to beat in the opening maiden hurdle while Breezit's three-quarter length second to Emeranna over the course and distance of the mares maiden gives her a clear shout.

There was also plenty to like about Willie The Shoe's reappearance at the Galway festival when fifth to Rooftop Protest in a competitive heat. Jessica Harrington's eight-year-old has three-quarters of a mile further to travel in this evening's first handicap but should be sharper for that first run in eight months.

The most valuable race on the card is the Kieran Kelly Memorial Handicap Chase and the Galway winner Mon Oiseau could defy a 12lb hike in the ratings over this longer trip.
