BRAY WANDERERS must wait another week at least to confirm their promotion after a below par performance against St James's Gate produced a scoreless draw at the Carlisle Grounds yesterday.

Bray would have left themselves needing just a point against Waterford on Friday if they had taken any one of five clear cut scoring chances in the second half.

St James's Gate, the only side to have beaten Bray in the league this season, dominated the first 45 minutes against a lethargic Bray who seamed almost uninterested.

Bray were transformed by Pat Devlin's half time talk and upped their game to swamp Gate throughout much of the second half.
