TWO goals from COMAD's Darragh Brady secured victory in the Irish Colleges Plate final at Whitehall yesterday. Cork RTC twice pulled the Dublin side back to level pegging but a finely placed free kick from Brady eventually settled the issue.
Aidan King fired COMAD in front after 25 minutes but a deflection off Cork's John Hennessy saw the southerners back in the game. In the second half Brady converted a penalty after Conor Hannon had been up ended. Although an alert Michael Aherne equalised once more, COMAD's class prevailed in the end.
