Blackrock make two changes from the side beaten by Clontarf for the short journey to Templeville Road on Saturday. New Zealander Eddie Robinson returns to the centre after missing the last game with flu. This allows Brian Carey to switch to fullback and Tom Keating to resume on the left wing.

Former Old Crescent prop Tom Stapleton comes into the front row in place of the suspended Paul Flavin who was sent off against Clontarf. Alan McGowan, injured (knee) early the last day, is expected to recover in time to face St Mary's. Galwegians have a doubt surrounding inter-provincial centre Mervyn Murphy for the visit of league leaders Ballymena. Murphy is nursing a knee injury. Paul Casserley (shoulder) is also doubtful, but the club is hoping that he will play. Jimmy Duffy, stretchered off against Lansdowne, should be available next week.

Terenure have yet to finalise their back five but better news for the Lakelands club is that Girvan Dempsey and Craig Fitzpatrick have recovered from injury. Lansdowne await a medical report on centre Shane Horgan (hamstring) but may also be without Gordon D'Arcy (exams).
