THE HOT favourite, Entrepreneur, was eased in betting on the Epsom Derby yesterday as Godolphin and Barry Hills each revealed that they will be double-handed at Epsom next Saturday.
William Hill pushed the 2,000 Guineas winner's price out to 8 to 11 from 4 to 6 after backing for Benny The Dip (8 to 1 from 10 to 1) and Bold Demand (20 to 1 from 25 to 1). Bold Demand has been all the rage with punters since news broke that he will be ridden by Erankie Dettori.
Barry Hills will run Musalsal and The Fly. Peter Chapple-Hyam will run Single Empire and Romanov, despite some of his horses suffering from runny noses.
Desert King may be declared at today's five-day stage, but there will be no clash between Michael Tabor's 2,000 Guineas and Irish 2,000 Guineas winners. A spokesman for Desert King's trainer Aidan O'Brien said: "Don't be surprised if he is left in the Derby just in case anything happens to Entrepreneur."
