Following the success of the juniors teams at Beaverstown this year, internationals Gary Cullen and Martina Gillen continued the good run for the club when the pair won their second successive Cassidy's Hotel East Of Ireland Mixed Foursomes championship at Luttrellstown over the weekend.

The Beaverstown pair had all of seven shots to spare over John Murtagh and Alison Taylor from Malahide. Cullen and Gillen opened with a 73 to set the target for the rest of the field and added two 75s in Sunday's final 36 holes for a total of 223 to win by seven shots from Murtagh and Taylor who had rounds of 76 76 and 78.
